Foot Mounting
Used to secure the cylinder to a horizontal or vertical surface. It is suitable for applications where the cylinder body remains stationary and force is transmitted along the linear axis.
Fixed cylinder-body mountingISO 15552-compatible mounting options
Mount any iMotion electric cylinder series to your machine using fixed, pivoting or axial mounting arrangements. Options compatible with standard pneumatic-cylinder mounting geometries allow you to retain most of your existing mechanical design and transition to electric motion more easily.
Mounting types
The right mounting accessory does more than simplify installation. It also helps reduce side loads on the cylinder, accommodate misalignment and protect the service life of the system.
Used to secure the cylinder to a horizontal or vertical surface. It is suitable for applications where the cylinder body remains stationary and force is transmitted along the linear axis.
Fixed cylinder-body mountingConnects the cylinder to the machine frame through the end-cap face. It is preferred for compact, rigid installations where axial force transmission is the priority.
Rigid axial mountingAllows the cylinder to move through an angle during operation. It helps accommodate mounting tolerances in pin-connected mechanisms.
Pivoting rear mountingAllows the cylinder body to pivot with the mechanism. It provides a balanced pivot point for lifting, hatch and lever mechanisms.
Pivoting cylinder-body mountingClevis ends, spherical rod eyes, rod ends and mounting nuts securely connect the piston rod to the driven mechanism.
Load-side connectionThese components form the pivot axis of articulated mountings. Correct selection of pins, bushings and retaining elements helps control play and wear.
Complementary mounting componentsCorrect selection
The mounting accessory should be selected not only by cylinder size, but also by the mechanism’s motion and the way the load is transferred to the cylinder.
Compatible with all iMotion series
Share your application drawing, product series and preferred mounting arrangement, and we will determine the appropriate mounting option for your mechanical design.
Technical note: ISO 15552 compatibility refers to standardized mounting dimensions. The load capacity, pin dimensions and operating conditions of each mounting accessory must also be verified for the specific application.
